The gardens are now closed for Winter, see you in 2025!
Harefield's Secret Gardens
Church Gardens is a hidden gem situated on the outskirts of Harefield village. The walled gardens have been drawn back from the brink of dereliction by Kay and Patrick McHugh, who first discovered them in 1995. For over 25 years, the family have devoted all of their spare time to restoring the gardens, resulting in an inspiring transformation which is now accessible to the public on Sunday afternoons during the gardening season.
Explore the Gardens
Church Gardens consists of three acres of C17th walled gardens. The Kitchen Garden is a patchwork of beautifully designed garden features including 56 geometrically arranged organic vegetable beds. The orchard is the largest of the walled gardens and it is believed to be the remains of a Renaissance Pleasure Garden.
